Scary contact lenses?

I don’t usually wear contact lenses, but I saw on America’s Next Top Model that the girls were wearing some cool looking one’s on the episode last night. I was wondering if anyone could get some of those, and if they were safe to wear? If we can get them, where can we get them from? (the scary type?) Best answer gets 10 points, thanks so much!!
I don’t have a prescription, do we have to have one to get them?

I order contact lenses for a living at a doctors office. You will need an exam. If you have already had an exam this yr go to that doctor. If not just pick one out. There should be a promotional sale currently ours are a pair for 99.00 Be careful though if you have a prescription they are expierncing some back orders because of high demand.

Contacts are safe to wear as long as you clean them properly. You need to take specialty lenses (colored/special designs) out every night and never sleep in them. First, go to see an eye doctor. He/she will give you the proper dimensions of your eye (the width and curve) so that you can get lenses that fit correctly and are comfortable. He/she may also be able to direct you to good dealers in specialty lenses. My eye doctor also orders my lenses for me. This is nice because if there is something wrong with them or they don’t fit, I don’t eat the cost of the incorrect lenses. If you don’t order through a doctor, you can find them on the internet. Shop around until you find the design you are looking for. As long as they are sealed properly, there shouldnt be any safety issues, since lenses are all manufactored in sterile conditions by reputable manufactorers. I have also seen specialty lenses sold in kiosks at malls. You should be fine buying them here too, as long as you check and see that they are sealed properly (you always need to check that). Good luck and have fun!

I know that you would have to get an exam, but I heard those kinda mess up your eyes: irritation and stuff like that. I wear contacts but would never get those ones.

well, baby.. it’s safe to wear it’s just like the normal contact lenses and it has a date to expire … it’s not forever and u have to buy an expansive product to be safe .. coz the ordinary products may causes many problems …
